Love your podcast guys.
The first person I thought of when Daniel told Desmond to go find his mother was Ms. Hawking, just like you guys. It would make all kinds of sense, and I can't think of any other female character we've met who would fit the bill better than her.
I just had a thought. What if Ms. Hawking is also Charlotte's mother? That would make Daniel and Charlotte's relationship really wierd in a Star Wars kind of way, but they sort of went that route with Boone and Shannon. Here's hoping I'm not right.
But, Charlotte was supposedly born on the island and Ms. Hawking was obviously there at some point--I'm thinking Hawking was one of the original inhabitants. Charlotte also attended Oxford where Daniel was a professor and maybe that's how they first met? Maybe Ms. Hawking was a professor there as well? So many questions, so little time to answer them...

Im wondering about ben at the moment, I think he knew that the oceanic survivors would experience the flashes when he moved the island instead of locke, but just like when he killed keamy and when asked about the other passengers of ajira air he just dosnt care.
Christain sheapard confirmed to john locke that it should have been locke that moved the island but i think ben wanted to move the island knowing that it would transport him to *the real world* so he could exact his revenge on Charles Widmore.
I know a lot of people are thinking perhaps ben was unsuccsessful in his attempt at the marina due to his beaten and bloodyied apperance, but i dont think if he had lost his encounter he would have taken the time to call jack from a payphone, he would have been running had he lost to widmores men.

It's been told that a mysterious voice was heard by Leonard Simms & Sam Toomey (repeating the numbers) while they were stationed at a listening post that monitored long wave transmissions out of the Pacific. Could the voice they heard be the same voice that Danielle Rousseau and her crew heard when they washed up on the beach with Jin? "Hurley" !!
Hurley then learns the numbers from Leonard !?!
