First of all, I am a practicing lawyer in CA. There is NO way that an attorney could show up at Kate's door to take a blood sample of both Kate and Aaron without a prior notice and hearing. It just would not happen. So the question is: Why did it happen here and why did Kate act the way she did? I believe that the alleged law firm did not exist and it had to be someone pulling Kate's chain.
Second, the Oceanic 6 have to go back b/c they are the Island's constant b/c they are the last people to leave it with a connection to the "real" space time continuum.
Third, Jin is NOT dead, b/c in the Lost pre-show, Sun was described as "believing" that he was dead.
Finally, I think it's interesting how Ben now has 70 hrs to assemble the return team. Similar to how the Oceanic 6 were in all different parts of the Island at the start of the last episode of Season 4. I believe that, with the time skipping and current story telling techniques, the rest of the season could transpire without all of the Oceanic 6 being reassembled and ready to "go back." Thoughts?

Hey David! I totally agree with you about the lawyers...they're not lawyers at all; in fact I believe they are the same guys who were waiting for Sayid and Hurley at the safehouse. Notice they didn't have real guns but fired tranquilizing darts? They wanted to get Sayid and Hurley somewhere, not kill them.
Totally agree with your "constant" theory. They need to get back so they can fix the "dislodgement".
I also believe Jin's not dead.....
Finally, are you saying that only 70 hours will transpire for the O6 over the the whole season? It's possible, but I think they will manage to get back before the end of the season, say midway....?
